SHIPPING.
The Queen of the South, from Wellington, with a general cargo, arrived off the bar yesterday morning, but was not allowed to enter. She attempted to cross inwards on last night’s tide, but stuck, and is still there, but it is anticipated she will get off to-night. The Avvahou, also from Wellington with general, arrived off the bar this morning, and is now outside waiting a favourable opportunity to cross inwards.
