'fhe Returning Officer notilies that nominations for two members to represent the Foxton Borough Council on the Foxton Harbour Board will close at noon on Tuesday, April 10th. The District. Electors’ List (supplementary) will finally close on Wednesday, the 11th instant. Residents should make sure they are enrolled before that date. Forms of enrolment can he obtained at the Town Clerk’s office.
As advertised in another column, the annual meeting of householders for the election of School Committees for the ensuing year •will be held on Monday, April 30th. Nominations, signed by (he proposers and candidates, are to be delivered to the Chairman of School Commitlees by 8 p.m. on April 23rd. The C. M. boss Co., Palmerston North, advertise in their space today Unit they are offering special attractions to visitors to Palmerston during Raster. An invitation is extended to inspect their beautiful new millinery, costumes, coats, travelling needs, etc. Their establishment will be open all day on Saturday next.
Millar and Giorgi, the outlitters, Palmerston North, are quoting in their advertising space to-day their annual Easter presentation of a soft fell hat, valued at Ids (id, to every cash buyer of one of their renowned “Eclipse-All” suits.
