FALLING HAIR.
For falling hair a few lines on the treatment will, perhaps, be of general interest. Rub into the scalp a mixture consisting of equal parls of paraffin —such as is used in ordinary lamps —and olive oil. Wash next morning in warm soap and water. At night time rub in the following lotion: Glycerine, loz.; carbolic acid, 1 drachm; water to 8 oz. This treatment persevered with for not less than three months, or if possible, longer, has been found most successful in quite obstinate cases. Many people who find that it fails have not persisted with it long enough.
