WATERSPOUT IN OTAGO.

There was intense heat in the Otago Central district yesterday afternoon. followed by a storm wit a
heavy rain extending to a waterspout in various purls. Ihe greatest force of the storm was within a tew miles of Cromwell, where lowJviag lands soon became miniature lakes. J. R. Webb's orchard was practically ruined.
