DECORATIONS FOR MAORILANDERS.
London, Feb. 15
The Gazette announces a number of decorations and medals awarded by the Allies, including the following to New Zealanders: —
The Czar has conferred the Order of St. Stanislaus of the Third Class on Lieut.-Colonel W. H. Cunningham, the Cross of St. George of the Third Class on one New Zealander, and the medals of St. George on five New Zealanders.
The King of Serbia has awarded the Order of the White Eagle of the Third Class to Brigadier-General E. W. Chaytor, of the Fourth Class to Lieut.-Colonels W. Meldrum and G. R. Pridham, and of the Fifth Class to four New Zealanders: the Order of Karageorge of the Fourth Class to Lieut.-Colonel Mitchell, and Ihe Cross of Karageorge to fourteen New Zealanders. The King has given unrestricted permission to wear these war decorations.
