The Shannon Olab yesterday afternoon made another unsuccessful attempt to get possession of the A wall ou Feathers, the holders winning by 20 points, to 15. The weather conditions were ideal for bowling, and the green played well. The game was interesting throughout. On (he first head the visitors scored a single, and the holders replied with a couple on the second head. With six heads played the.score was four all. After the eighth head the board read six all, and two heads later honours wore again even, eight all. Fox ton then put on two singles, and the afternoon tea adjournment was taken. On resuming, the inane team scored two twos, and Shannon got in a single on the fifteenth head. Three on the sixteenth head, followed by a single on the next, made Foxlou’s score 18 to their opponents’ !). Roach, with a nice shot on the eighteenth head, trailed kitty for four, and singles were scored on the nineteenth and twentieth. The holders scored two on the last head. The teams were as follows; — Foxion. Shannon.

The Shannon rink that defeated Foxlon for the Kinnihurgh Feathers iasl week were beaten by a challenging rink from Levin yesterday a.rtenioon, the scorns being: Levin 23, Shannon 11. Tiie Levin rink was composed of Roe, Kirk, Porleons, Pollock (s).
