HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows: — The hemp market is firm and prices continue to advance. The manila markel is excited by the speculative demand due to fear that (word inulilaled). New Zealand business is dull owing lo lillle offering. Quotations are nominal. Jannary-March shipment good fair .1412, fair £(>(). The output from Manila for the week was lb,ooo bales.
