« A lire broke out in the A. and L. Seifert Co.’s swamp at Mira mu on Monday night, and soon assumed large dimensions. A great many men promptly responded to the alarm, hut eighteen acres ot standing llax and twelve acres of land newly cut was cleaned np by the lire before it was brought under control.
