CHARGE OF SEDITIOUS UTTERANCE.
Christchurch, Jan. 22,
Edward Reginald Williams, who was charged to-day before Mr Bishop, S.M., with seditious utterance on 17th January, asked for a remand to prepare his case. Mr Raymond, K.C., for the Crown, did not oppose the application, and a remand was granted till Wednesday. Bail was not asked for.
