BOWLING.

Yesterday afternoon two visiting rinks played on the local green,'one from Terrace End playing the holders of the Gold Stars, and the other from Levin tried conclusions with the Kinniburgh Feathers holders. The green played well, hut the strong westerly wind was very tricky, and many good shots were spoiled. The Terrace End team succeeded in defeating the holders of the Gold Stars by a margin of three points, but the Kinniburgh Feathers holders retained possession of the trophies, the challengers being two down after the 21st head bad been played.
