substituted an equally good programme in its stead. Vocal items were sandwiched between the pictures, all of which were encored. Those taking part were: Mrs Freeman, “I'll make a man of you,*' accompanied on the stage by several juvenile soldiers; Miss Signal, who sang ‘‘We're AH L’nder the Same Old Flag" with a tableau setting and accompanied by the following national represent a 1 ions; Scotland (.Miss King), Ireland (Miss Lenihan), Wales (Miss Hryaiil), Colonies (Mr A. Thompson). Two school cadels, Willie Signal and (ieorge Aim, supported the Hag; Air W, Hooker sang “Trentham,” and as an encore “He a Man, and Enlisted To-day,” in good voice; Mr Ailken contributed “Khaki and Cold” and “Philosophy" as an encore number; .Mr Hornbluw sang “Algernon"; Airs (ladder and Air Colder the duct, “.Modern Courtship"; Mr D. Knewstnb ami .Miss Doris .McLeod contributed dancing items. Aliss White played the accompaniments, and was assisted by Miss 11. Cook (violin), .Mrs Osborne (bass) and Air Pasii Walls (cornel). .Mr Ilornblow, on behalf of the Committee, thanked the performers, (he public-, and those responsible for organising the concert on behalf of (he school funds.
