NOVEMBER GRADING RETURNS,
According to a return just issued by tlie Agricultural Department, Helds division, the number of bales of hemp graded at the various ports of the Dominion during November was 14,73!), as compared with 12,5)17 for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 1,821 bales. For the twelve months ended November 30th, 1016, the number of bales graded was 145),027, as compared with 143,731 for the previous twelve mouths, an increase of 3b,S!)(i bales. Daring the month 3,626 hales of tow were dealt with, as compared with 3,50!) for the corresponding period of last year, an increase of 57 bales. For the twelve months ended November 301 li, 1.511.0, ihe number of bales graded was 41,258, as compared with 30,335 for (lie previous twelve months, an increase of 10,023 hales. During- the month the number of hales of stripper slips graded was 465, as compared with 731 for (lie corresponding month of last year, a decrease of 266 bales. For Untwelve months ended November 30th, 15)16, tiie number of bales graded was 6,478, as compared with 3,801 for the previous twelve months, an increase of 3,087 bales.
