On Friday evening uexf, at 0 o’clock, nominations close for all events (including Trial Hack Plate) at the Marlon Jockey Club’s Summer Meeting on Ist and 2nd January, 1017. Following closely on the Manawatu summer meeting, with two day’s spell for the horses, and with liberal stakes and the prolits to be devoted to the War Funds, the response by owners should result in a record meeting.
