THOSE men who were selected as a result of the lirst ballot to till the gaps in the 23rd and 2-lth Reinforcements will lie able to lodge appeals (against being milled up for service) until Monday next, when the time allowed will expire. Those appealing will be notified in duo course when to appear before t lie Military Service Boards to have their cases heard. Ballot men not appealing will receive notices when to go before Military Service Hoards, and also when to go into camp. In the latter case they will lie given fourteen days’ notice in which to adjust (heir private affairs.
