The Rev. D. C. Bates wires as follows at noon to-day : Tlie indications are for freshening northerly winds backing bywest to south after about twentyfour hours; the weather appeal's to be cloudy and unsettled. The barometer has a falling tendency, and is expected to have a very low tn-essure. The seas and tides are moderate, with the sea increasing.
