MR. AIASSEY SPEAKS AT CORK. London, Nov. 15. Mr Massey, speaking at Cork in acknoAvledgmeut of the Freedom of the City, said that the public of Britain and the Dominions Avas hoav anxious for closer union. Tho statesmen of Britain must take advantage of tho present opportunity by giving a lend in connection Avith building up a great Imperial edifice!, the foundation of Avhieh had been Avell mid truly laid in the present Avar. It Avas a splendid thing that representative men in the Dominions should visit the United Kingdom and see that: the people Avere Avell abreast of the times and Avere not a decadent nation as the Aus-tro-Germans had deluded themselves into thinking. It Avas equally important that the British dominions should gain an idea of the real potentialities of the Empire.
