THE WEATHER.
The liev. D. C. Bates wires as follows at noon to-day : The indications are for freshening northerly winds, backing by west to south; the weather will probably be dull and overcast. The barometer is unsteady, and is expected to have a very low pressure, but will gradually rise after about twenty-four hours. The seas ire moderate, and increasing off :he shore.
