HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows: — The hemp market is firm, hut unsettled and too speculative. Quotations nominal, good fair New Zealand £53, fair £sl, Government graded fair Manila £54 10s, coarse £sl l()s. January-Mareh shipment, good fair Now Zealand £52, fair £SO, Government graded fair Manila £53 10s, coarse £SO 10s. Tho output from Manila, for the week was 17,000 hales.
