BOWLING .
To-morrow a pairs tournament will be played on the local green, play commencing at 10 a.m. Sixteen players have entered, and the pairs were drawn last night. Five games of 14 heads each will be played, and trophies awarded to the winners and the runners-up. The following are the pairs drawn and the handicaps allotted:—Spring and D. Whihley ser., Barr and Hislop ser., Betty and Kimmer ser., Large and Nye ser., Lunisdeu and McColl 2, Smith and Admore 2, Kuffell and Woods 3, Lazarctte and F. JD. Whihley 4. AU the players are requested to be on the ground early, as play will commence punctually at 10 o’clock.
