WEDDING BELLS.
SAVTLLE—WESTON
A wedding in which considerable interest was taken took place tit St. Andrew's Church, Pukekolie, on Wednesday last, when Mr 11. F. Seville, son of Mr John Seville, of Paxton, and Miss Jessie Weston, seeond daughter of Mr Ceo. Weston, of Pnkekohe, wore united in the bonds of matrimony, the Rev. J. P. Cowie oflieialing.
Miss Aiiee West on, sister of tin; bride, and Air J. Weston, brother, acted as bridesmaid and best man respectively. The bride wore a pretty frock of merv silk with silk embroidered overdress, with bridal veil, and carried a bouquet of white, earnations, asparagus and maiden hair tern, while the bridesmaid was attired in a silk embroidered net dress and wore a pretty white Jaee hat to match, her bouquet being similar to that carried by her sister. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a dressing ease and a travelling nig, and to the bridesmaid a half-moon gold brooch set with diamonds and rubies.
Some 50 guests at tended (h.e wedding breakfast, held in the Carnival Tea Rooms, which .were very artistically decorated for the occasion. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by the Rev. .Mr Cowie, and responded to by the bridegroom. The toast of the bridesmaid was submitted by Alt 0. K. Lawrie, and was replied to by Mr J. Weston. The health of the “Host and Hostess” was proposed by Mr F. Perkins, Mr Weston, senr., responding.
The newly-married couple 1 subsequently left for Palmerston North, the bride wearing a smart navy serge costume with rose-pink hat trimmed with roses and ostrich feathers.
