ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Wellington, falsi Xigbi. Private John Parry, (!. Company lffi.li K’einforcemenls, died at the Fealherslon .Military Hospital yesterday from broncho-pneumonia following measles. Waibi, Last Xight. John Mclntosh, an experienced miner and a shaflsman. fell out of a cage while descending one of tho Waihi Company's shafts this afternoon. His mate who accompanied him did not see or hear him fall. He only discovered Mclntosh was gone by a glimmer of light in the chamber of Xo. 11 level as (he cage passed it. The body was terribly mutilated and was found at the bottom of the shaft. Deceased leaves a widow and live children.
