MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.

MONTHLY MEETING. The ordinary meeting of the Manawatu County Council was held on Tuesday. Present : Crs Sir Jas. Wilson (chairman), W. .). Phillips, IV. .Strode, Penny, B. Gray, \V. E. Barber, .1. Land and Survey Department wrote, saying the ferry reserve, section 51, was vested in the Crown. -—lt was decided to make application to have the reserve vested in the Council.

The stone crusher has been doing first-class work, and during the month we crushed 1,200 yards of metal for the various roads throughout the Count v.
