SOLICITOR SENTENCED.
TOSWILL GETS TWO YEARS. Wellington, Sept. 23. At the Supreme Court this morning, William Tosswill, solicitor, of Pahiatua, pleaded guilty to three charges of theft of trust, moneys, anil was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment with hard labour. John Alfred Shirley, for theft of petrol from Fitzherhert’s garage, reeeiveel nine months’ imprisonment.
