Wellington, Lust Night. The following cable has been received from the High Commissioner; —The wool sales closed with a good demand for all classes; prospects favourable. The estimated values are: Fine crossbreds (all grades), Is 9d to 2s; medium crossbreds (all grades), Is 5d to Is 7d; coarse crossbreds (all grades), Is-3d to Is bad; superior merino, Is lOd to 2s Id; medium merino, Is (id to Is 9d; inferior merino, Is 2id to Is sd; 3,500 bales of New Zealand wool 'are held over.
