The Patriotic Shop will he open as usual on Saturday next, under the charge of Alesdames John Robinson and Harvey, and the proceeds will be devoted to the fund being raised to send Christmas gifts to our troops in France and Egypt, The Wellington Committee of (.he Countess of Liverpool Fund have the arrangements of the Christinas Gift Fund in hand, and require to provide 7,000 parcels from the Wellington Alilitary District, and have asked Foxton to assist.
Dr. Wall lias presented a shoe]) for a weight-guessing competition, and guesses may he registered at ,A!r Woodroofe’s shop on Friday and Saturday, at sixpence each.
The collectors of the Patriotic Boxes are reminded that the August donations are now due to be collected, and should he handed to Air E. Healey by the 12th instant.
