Auckland, August 31.

The body of a man was found Ivui<>- (he scrub in the subui’bs today. It is believed his name is George Best, a married man, formerly of Christchurch, and a bottle of poison was found near the body. Dunedin, August 31.

.Mrs M'Robie, wife of the licensee of the Railway Hotel, Mosgiel, died vesterdav. On Wednesday afternoon she took some liquid from a bottle and drank it.
