The case against Professor Isherwood, magnetic healer and clairvoyant e, in the Supreme Court today created much local interest. Isherwood was charged with obtaining money by false pretences front a number of Maoris. He foretold events and cured diseases and promised children to childless couples for payment. Lengthy evidence for the prosecution took up the whole da v.
