DRILL-DOOGERS FINED.
Pahintim, August Hi. Mr Hewitt, ‘ S.AL, imposed substantial penalties on defaulting territorials to-day. Two civil servants who never attend drill were lined £5 and £3 respectively. A farmhand, who had been convicted previously, was fined £2. The magistrate said it was not fair to those doing their duty that others should escape.
