The August sessions of the Supreme Court will open in Palmerston North on Tuesday next, August 15th. following is the list of cases set down for hearing;— CIHII IN A 1,. Ilex v. Hubert Walker, alleged theft from dwelling. Hex v. Charles von ITonsen, alleged theft of wool. Ilex v. Thomas Stanley Madge, alleged mauslaughlev. Rex v. Joe Pye, alleged assault, and causing actual bodily harm. CIVIL CASKS. C. H. Bpeirs (Mr Cooper) v. P. P. Wall (Mr Dunn), claim 111,00(1 for loss of llax by (ire, which is alleged to have spread to pJaintilt’s swamp from defendant's hush lire. Mary L. Richmond (Mr Kavanagh) v. Kxci-uloi's of Kstate of H. 11. Stephens, deceased (Mr Mclntyre'), claim 1000 11s 2d, alleged advances and costs (before a jury of 12).
C. J 3. Dempsy (Mr limes) v. Krnest Wagstalf (Mr Cooper), claim 1213 12s 7d, account allegedly due under guarantee. *'
Mary L. Richmond (Mr Ka.vanugii) v. John L. Easter (Mr tunes), claim 1108 10s (id for services allegedly rendered and monies paid. Palmerston North Borough Council (Mr Cooke) v. Palmerston North-ivairanga River Board (Mr Cooper), injunction from levying rates.
Beit and Bayly, Ltd. (Mr Cooper), v. Hen are Waitere (Mr Brown), claim £ ( J2 11s 3d, alleged balance of accounts.
P. H. Scbwamm (Mr limes) v, Gustav Schwamm (Mr Eixtherbert), dissolution of partnership.
Sophia J. Raxusden (Mr Gawith) v. Hans Hadsen Hies (Air Lloyd), declaration for indemnity.
Patrick McCurdy (Mr Cooper) v. Mary Ann McCurdy (Mr Lloyd), claim for possession of land and rent £l5B.
