excellent progress is being' made in cunnecSion with the School Fair in aid of (lie dependants of those who fell in the .Jutland Rattle. The parents and children are responding liberally, and already youthful canvassers have done good business. It is intended to arrange for a plain and fancy stall, a flower and sweets stall, and a produce stall. Many interesting and novel competitions have been planned. An excellent combined orchestra will contribute selections at intervals, while the local Rand has also consented to enliven the proceedings.
