A COMPLIMENT.
MIL PI RANI STANDS AGAIN,
A deputation representing four Wanganui urban school committees presented a requisition signed ly 30 out of 32, members to Air f'l’ed Hirani. chairman of the Education Board, asking him to contest a seat on the Board at the coming elections as local representative. Mr Hirani said that he had decided to retire* owing to the alteration in education district: boundaries, and for business reasons. He considered the requisition was the best testimonial he had ever received in the course of his public career. After consideration of (he matter, Air Hiraui decided to accede to the request of the deputation.
