PRICE OF SUGAR.
INVESTIGATION COMPLETED.
For some lime past the Board of Trade has been conducting an investigation into the price and supply -of sugar throughout New Zealand. The enquiry was commenced in Wellington, continued in Auckland, and concluded in W ellington yesterday. The Board conducted negotiations with the representatives of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company in regard to price, and has forwarded to the Prime Minister, as President of the Board, the result of the deliberations.
