The orodit balance at the Bank of New Zealand, as per pass hooks, are : District fund account £125 4s, and cemetery account £7 Os lOd. The ledger balances of the various accounts are as follow :—Gas works £230 Is sd, reserves £129 3s 4d, Town Hall £4(5 18s lOd, sanitation £4l. 9s, Council Chambers and Public library loan £24 Bs, Whirokino bridge loan £l(s 7s lid, roads and streets loan No. 2 £lO 17s 2d, cemetery £7 Os lOd, gas works loan £5 Os lid, contractors’ deposits £3, roads and streets loan £2 17s 9d, Beach road loan £1 19s lOd, Whirokino bridge additions loan 10s sd, Shannon bridge loan 9s ld,‘ all in credit, a counts at debit are :—General £2OB 5s sd, gas cookers and fittings £B9 4s 9d, hospital and charitable aid £l4 13s 7d, Coronation Town Hall loan £O9, imprest cash £lO, library £2 15s lid, a total of £393 19s 8«1.
