HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
.The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows: — The hemp market is quiet in anti-
cipation of heavy arrivals from ' Manila. Buyers are cautious. New Zealand good fair £49 l()s, fair £47 10s ; Government graded Manila, fair £53 10s, coarse £sl. May-July shipment. New Zealand good fair £4B, fair £4O } fair Manila £53, coarse £sl. The output from Manila for the week was 27,000 hales.
