CAMPAIGN AGAINST GERMAN TRADE.

COLLECTION OF GERMAN CATALOGUES.

In connection with the campaign against German trade which was initiated by the Board of Trade in England in the early days of the war, much good work has been done in bringing to the. notice of most British linns the nature of the goods made by German linns which were most successful in securing trade in Home, colonial, and foreign markets. ( lolhing, hosiery, bools and shoes (manufacturers 1 catalogues, not merchants , of these required), filters, domestic brushes and brooms, disinleetants, educational models, woven fabrics, table linen and handkerchiefs, tire places, lloor covers, carpets, mats, etc., chimneys (lamp), hardware springs, bouse furnishing goods, medical requisites, ropes (hem)) .and wire), ships’ tackle, oils and lubricants, belting (leather and cotton), aeroplanes and accessories lor, basket ware, carriages and waggons, building materials, electric furnaces, fencing wire, (lags, bottles, gymnastic apparatus, hospital accessories, ironwork (pipes and tidies, castiron, weldless and welded), printers’ Tniutoriiilsj st;itu»nci\, wue goods, gauge screens, etc. Catalogues of British manufacturers in considerable nuiiiliei's are always available for inspection by traders in the office of His Majesty's Trade Commissioner, 11 Grey Street, Wellington. *
