BOWLING.

The committee of the local (dub has decided to level and top-dres* the whole of the green this year, and a start with the work has already been made. The soil for the top-dressing is being obtained Ixoin Moutoa. It is hoped to carrx out the work without the employment of outside labour, and so far this has been carried out by a few enthusiastic members. Several members who are unable to assist in the work have signified their intention of making a donation to the Club’s funds instead. To-morrow afternoon there will be a “working bee, ’ and all members able to do so are asked to put in an appearance.
