PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
A meeting of the district comuiittee of the Foxton charge of the Presbyterian Church was held at Foxton yesterday. The moderator (Kev .1. H. Bredin) presided, anti the following delegates were present : Messrs Anion and Fanner (Glen Oroua), 11. Wilton, Ingley, and Lowe (Kangiotu), Matheson and Kichardson (Tiakitahunu), Kenton, Parkes, and T. Henderson (Foxton). After general business had been disposed of, the following resolution was carried : “That the Committee agrees to the proposed disjoining of Tiakitahunu from the Foxton charge, not later than June 30th." A meeting of the Tiakituhuna congregation will be held on Monday evening next to confirm the resolution, after which it will go before the Presbytery for final sanction.
