The. balance-sheei of the Foxton Harbour Board for the year ended December 31st, 19L5, was submitted at Tuesday’s meeting, and was adopted subject to audit. The receipts for the year, including the balance brought forward from last year, £(>00 13s lOd, totalled £1,213 18s 4d, made up of, pilotage £286 14s (id, rents £230 10s od, river lighting £BB 10s Od, telephone service £6 10s Od, and launch license £l. The expenditure totalled £513 Os Id, the chief items of which were : Harbour master and assistant £2OO 7s (id, benzine and kerosene £4l 10s Od, maintenance and repairs £2(5 3s 4d, secretary £6O, legal expenses £26 5s Od, members’ travelling expenses £27 18s 3d, Chairman’s •honorarium £25, Foxton Borough £25, and elections £l6 19s Od.
Of the amount to credit, £6OO is on fixed deposit with the Bank of New Zealand, and the balance, £IOO 9s 3d, is to the credit of current account.
The assets total £1,050 10s 3d, made up of : Bank of New Zealand £7OO 0s 3d, plant £350, reals outstanding £9 10s Od, and the liabilities are nil.
