FOXTON PATRIOTIC SOCIETY.
The Patriotic Shop, under the charge of Mrs Harvey and Misses Robinson and Moxham, had a busy day on Saturday, and did successful business. Gifts are acknowledged from the following : —Mesdames C. Symons, Jas. Robinson, Hussey, H. Coley, IV. Symons, J. Lyne, Rafne, Ashmore, A. Ross, Wright, Gower, Preston, C. A. Spring. Wallace, .John Robinson, G. Satherley, F. Robinson, Stevenson, A. P. Easton, A. S. Easton, Greig, Austin-John-ston, Misses Moxham, Hare, Neylon, Messrs E. Ball, P. W. Brown, Greig, Hughes, Walker and Furrie, R. Gray, Win, Ross, Irwin, Chung Wall. Next Saturday the shop will be conducted by Mesdames Mandl and A. Ross. A further consignment of “deleious” apples from Motucka is expected. Shooting enthusiasts arc respectfully reminded that gifts of rabbits and ducks will be very acceptable. The monthly meeting of the Society will be held at the Council Chamber on Thursday evening next, at 7.30 o’clock. Important business is to be discussed, and a large attendance is requested.
