FULLER’S PICTURES
The current programme at Fullers' contains a. star feature of more than ordinary merit in a thought-stimulating story, in two parts, “The Evil Men Do.” Here is a strong,-vivid and fascinating story of love and life in the upper circle of American life. The story begins with a very-much-in-love little schoolgirl and her sweetheart, and continues further, when he has risen to the position of a prosperous hanker and is inveighed info marriage with a, designing woman. The after-events of this unhappy marriage are shown with vivid truth, and leaves a powerful moral in the mind" of the spaetatoi’. The climax is surprisingly clever and pleasing. The supporting items are : “Shocking Stockings,” comedy ; “A Cute Little Bear,” novel ; “A Ten Cent Adventure,” Comedy-drama ; “The Gaumont Graphic,” topical ; “Picturesque Liguria,” scenic ; “Cartoons on a Beach.”
WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. On Wednesday and Thursday, the eighteenth episode of the ever-popu-lar “Million Dollar Mystery” will ho screened in “Trapped by the Flames.” The Princess Parlova arrives in America. The newspapers announce a wonderful masked hall to he given hy her. Norton and .Florence are surprised to receive invitations. Joyously they select their costumes. Unsuspected, the Countess Olga and Braine spy on them. In the oriental splendour of the masked hall the treachery of the Black Hundred stalks. Florence is seized. Her disappearance is discovered ; excitement prevails. A terrific explosion follows and again Norton is the hero of the hour. The supporting programme contains excellent items.
