There was a good attendance at the Town Hall last night, to witness the Ifith episo.de of the ever popular “Million Dollar Mystery.” The programme was well supported by a. good selection of scenic, comic, dramatic and topical items, which will he repeated tonight. FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. An outstanding feature of tomorrow’s change is a magnificent Lnhin Special, a realistic story of adventure and travel, “The Valley of Lost Hope,” the birth and growth of a boom town, depicting the most gigantic train smash ever shown. This is a smashing fine story filled with thrilling silnations and also a great and tender love. It is the story of how a real estate swindler started a mining boom on some properly ho owned. Starting with a false assay purporting (o have been obtained on his (‘state, he; managed to start a gold rush. His son was placed in tile position of receiver to (he camp, and when he had received nearly all the miners’ money his father wrote him to meet him at a certain place, where a specialtrain would be waiting. The son had no idea till then it was a duffer mine. He has fallen in love with the sister of an evangelist, who wishes to invest in the mines. The son now knows it is a swindle, and (ells him not to do it. The evangelist starts out to meet the real estate swindler, and to try and persuade him to return the miners’ money. In the meanwhile, the news is spread, and the miners start out for revenge. The result of their revenge is shown in a big train smash.

There is a good assortment of supporting items.
