The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at- noon as follows: — The Horn]) market is very quiet on account of Manila being' easier. New graded fair Manila, on spot £55, June-August shipment £sl Ills. The output from Manila for the week was 27,000 hales. New Zealand is firm. Near parcels command a premium hut for distant parcels shippers and buyers are more reserved on account of the freight uncertainty. Values, good fair £4l) 10s, February-May shipment good fair £4B 10s, fair £4O 15s.
