FULLER’S PICTURES
“THE SEA WOLF.”
The initial screening of the picturisation of Jack London’s masterpiece, “The>Sea Wolf,’’ was responsible for a full bouse at Fuller’s last night. This is one of the most original stories that has ever come from the invincible pen of Jack London. Humphrey van Weyden, an art critic, the only survivor of a wrecked lerry boat, is picked up by “The Ghost,’’ a sailing vessel commanded by Wolf Larsen, a man of primitive brutalities. The story merges into an account of the development of character under extraordinary conditions —a man of brain power, fastidious, cultured, a last product of the twentieth century, under the commands of espionage of rampant brutality. The author introduces into the story a lovely woman, creating thereby one of the most beautiful love stories known in fiction. The p.cture will be repeated to-night. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. A special feature of to-morrow’s change of programme is the sixteenth episode of the “Million Dollar Mystery,’’ in “Drawn into Quicksands.” In addition to this specially interesting number of the great serial story is a brilliant Max Linder feature, 2,500 feet of continuous merriment, “Max is Love Sick,” in which Max, in order to overcome the antagonism of his sweetheart’s father, is forced through .many laughable adventures, There are several good items in addition to the above features.
