HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner cabled yesterday at noon as follows :
The hemp market is firm, but unsettled on account of delay in delivery of New Zealand parcels purchased under contract, caused by freight difficulty. Prices are nominal. New Zealand good fair spot xos, fair 10s, April-June shipment: good fair £SO, fair Manila, new graded £53, coarse £SO. The output from Manila for the week was 27,000 bales.
