INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
No less than three cases of Infantile paralysis were reported on Thursday, one of the victims being located in Palmerston, and the other two in Bunnythorpe and Aokautere respectively. Another case was reported in Palmerston yesterday. The health officer states that during the last week or two the epidemic showed signs of diminishing, and it was hoped that no further cases would occur. The latest cases, however, are not regarded in the light of an epidemic and are only of sporadic nature. All the cases reported are very mild, and serious consequences are not feared.
