The Dixon Cup match, Feilding v. Foxton, played at Feilding yesterday afternoon, resulted in a particularly easy win lor the holders, who put up a record score. The visitors scored two on the first head and two on the fourth, the score at this stage reading 4—3 in their favour. From this out, however, they were “not in the hunt’’ the holders scoring on fifteen of the remaining seventeen heads. Foxton scored only on the eleventh and eighteenth heads. Feilding’s score included two sixes, a five, a four and four threes.

Another Foxton rink also visited Feilding yesterday and suffered defeat. The home team put on sixes on the first and last heads and scored on twelve heads to their opponents nine. The visitors were hospitably entertained by the Feilding Club and spent a very enjoyable time. The following are the teams and scores : Feilding. Foxton.
