PRESENTATION OF A D.C.M.
Dunedin, April 5. The Hon. J. Allen is vftiting his electorate. At a public meeting in the Lawrence Town Hall last night he made a recruiting speech, and during the proceedings presented a Distinguished Conduct Medal to Private Robert Clarence M’Leod, of Tuapeka*Mouth, The medal was won by M’Leod at Helles for an act of gallantry and devotion to duty.
