FOXTON PATRIOTIC SOCIETY.

Good business was done at the patriotic shop on Saturday last and gifts were received from the following: Mrs P. Robinson, Miss J. Ross, A. Baker, W. Stevenson, Mrs Bredin, Mr Bredin, A Friend, Mrs Kellow, Mr Easton, Mrs Satherly, Miss Neylon, Mr Bowe, Mrs G. King, C. Petersen, Mrs Harvey, Mrs M. Newth (Moutoa), A Friend. Mrs J. Robinson, Mr W. Ross, Mr Turner (HimatangO. Mrs Raine, Mrs A. King, Mr Greig.

The ladies would be obliged if any customers having pie dishes taken away with their purchases would return same as soon as possible.

The shop will be open on Satur* day next as usual, in the charge of Mrs Greig and Miss J. Ross.

The collectors of the Society’s boxes have been busy during the week, and with five districts still unaccounted for, the amount received is ,£36 93 6d.

Those ladies who have not yet handed in their collections are requested to forward them to the secretary this week. The monthly donation for February from Mr Wm. Ross for the Poplar Flaxmilling Company is acknowledged.
