FULLER’S PICTURES,
“THE WILES OF A WOMAN.”
There was a record attendance at the Town Hall last night to witness the eighth episode of the popular serial picture, “The Million Dollar Mystery.” The conspirators determine to get rid of Norton, who is too active against them. They carry out several dastardly schemes, all of which fall. Finally, in desperation, they decide to throw him through a man-hole and let him drown in a sewer. Their plan progresses successfully. He is thrown through the man hole, but fate, playing his side of the battle, brings about his rescue after a terrible struggle for life in the darkness of the sewer. Other films are: “Birds at Home,” “Strength” (drama), “Pathe Gazette,” “Billie’s Heiress” (comedy), and a 2,000 ft. Keystone comedy, featuring Syd. Chaplin, ’’Lovers’ Lost Control.” FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. The programme tor Friday and Saturday contains a star feature drama by the Nordisk Company, “The Lure of the Circus,” The story tells of a man who, becoming attracted by a star circus rider, deserts his wife and child. Ultimately he finds that the circus rider cherishes an affection for another man, and while contemplating plans prompted by his jealousy, fate contrives to bring he and his wife together again in an absorbing and sensaFonal manner. The film is of the high standard maintained by the Nordisk Company, and the story is prettily told. There is a wall varied list of supporting items.
