FATAL FIRE.
ELDERLY WOMAN BURNT
TO DEATH

A two storey boarding house containing about forty rooms at Karangahake, seveu miles from Waihi, was totally destroyed by fire at three o'clock on Sunday morning resulting in an elderly woman named Dawson beiug burnt to death. The only two other occupants, Selviu and Griffin miraculously escaped after being badly burned.
